SPACEXTYPER v1.0 - Public Release!


Hey everyone!

Just wanted to give you a quick update on SPACEXTYPER and what’s been going on lately. We’ve been busy adding some cool new features and making improvements, so here’s a rundown of what’s new:

CHANGELOGS

  • The command input for "FWD", "BWD", "SHT", "ML", "MM", and "MR" has been refined. The ship now responds more smoothly, making gameplay feel more responsive.
  • Scoring System in Action: We’ve got the scoring system up and running. You’ll see your points increase with each successful move and additional points for shooting enemies. There’s also a real-time score display now.
  • Smoother Transitions: Scene transitions are now smoother. We’ve ensured that when you die, your ship’s last position is correctly saved.
  • Visual and Audio Upgrades: Added new visual effects, including a more dramatic explosion animation, and upgraded the audio with multiple sound sources for a richer experience.
  • Bug Fixes and Optimizations: Several bugs have been fixed, especially with enemy movements and scene transitions. We’ve also optimized performance to keep the game running smoothly.
